Welded Needle Valve
Welded Needle Valve Models: J21 / J23 / J24 / J26 / J61
A welded needle valve is a needle valve that uses welded connections. The main welding types include butt weld, socket weld, and welded tube. Its greatest feature is leak-free connection. Compared with threaded connections, the welded end (socket weld or butt weld) achieves permanent metal fusion between the valve body and the pipe, eliminating dynamic sealing points and completely preventing external leakage of the medium. This makes it especially suitable for harsh conditions such as flammable, explosive, highly toxic, or high-vacuum applications. In terms of core function, it is the same as ordinary needle valves, relying on the precise fit between the conical tip at the end of the valve stem and the valve seat to achieve high-precision shut-off or flow regulation of the medium. In structural design, to cope with high temperature and high pressure, hard seals (metal-to-metal) and high-temperature flexible graphite packing are often used. When selecting a valve, it is necessary to specify whether the connection is socket weld or butt weld, as well as the specific wall thickness schedule of the pipe. The welded needle valves produced by Kaivex Valve Group are an irreplaceable solution in power plants, chemical plants, core oil refining units, and high-temperature hot oil systems in the nuclear industry.
