The DQ340Y cryogenic top-entry flanged ball valve is a high-performance ball valve specifically designed for ultra-low temperature media such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and liquid helium. It features a top-entry design and flanged connections.The valve body is constructed from austenitic stainless steel or low-temperature alloy steel and undergoes deep cryogenic treatment to eliminate residual stress. This ensures excellent low-temperature toughness and dimensional stability at temperatures down to -196°C and below.Its core characteristic is the top-entry design, which allows the internal trim components (ball, seats, stem) to be removed from the top for maintenance without taking the valve out of the pipeline. The flanged connections facilitate easy installation and removal. The valve utilizes a trunnion-mounted ball design with metal-to-metal hard sealing. A worm gear operator drives the ball through a 90-degree rotation for opening and closing.This valve is widely used in LNG terminals, air separation units, cryogenic storage and transportation systems, and ultra-low temperature equipment in the petrochemical industry. It is a critical shut-off device in applications requiring reliable sealing and ease of in-line maintenance.

1.  Top-Entry Design for In-Line Maintenance: The unique top-entry design allows for the removal of the bonnet and the integral extraction of core components such as the ball, seats, and stem for inspection, cleaning, or replacement without dismantling the valve from the pipeline. This significantly reduces maintenance downtime and operational costs.

2.  Flanged Connection for Easy Installation: Utilizing standard flanged connections, installation and disassembly are more convenient. It allows for efficient connection with various types of cryogenic equipment and piping systems, making it suitable for pipeline systems requiring regular maintenance or replacement.

3.  Cryogenic Materials and Deep Cryogenic Treatment: All components are made of austenitic stainless steel or low-temperature alloy steel. They undergo deep cryogenic treatment to relieve stress, ensuring low-temperature toughness and dimensional stability at -196°C, preventing brittle fracture, deformation, and leakage at cryogenic temperatures.

4.  Metal Hard Seal Resistant to Erosion: The sealing surfaces of the ball and seats are overlaid with a hardfacing alloy, employing a metal-to-metal hard seal structure. This provides resistance to low-temperature impact, wear, and erosion. It is suitable for pigging operations and media containing particles, ensuring a long service life.

5.  Stable Operation with Worm Gear Drive: Equipped with a worm gear transmission device, it delivers high output torque, requires less effort to operate, and provides smooth and reliable opening and closing. This allows for precise control under low-temperature working conditions.
