According to data released by the State Administration of Taxation on the 8th, the number of overseas tourists who processed departure tax refunds increased by 285% year-on-year from January to November this year, and the sales of tax refunded goods and tax refunds increased by 98.8% year-on-year.

Since the beginning of this year, five new policy implementation areas have been added in Dalian, Hubei, Jilin, Guizhou, and Inner Mongolia, and tax refund shops have covered 28 provinces (regions, cities). As of the end of November, there were 12252 departure tax refund stores nationwide, of which 9151 were newly included stores this year; There are over 7000 stores providing "buy and refund" services, and the coverage of tax refunds continues to expand.

From January to November, the total number of goods sold in departure tax refund stores nationwide reached 329 categories, an increase of 84 categories compared to the same period last year, with a year-on-year growth of nearly 40%. Domestic trendy products are highly favored, with sales and tax refunds of domestic technology products represented by smartphones and traditional domestic goods represented by silk and tea increasing exponentially.
