Cryogenic Gate Valve
A cryogenic gate valve is a specialized shut-off valve designed for ultra-low temperature media (typically below -46°C, such as LNG, liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, etc.). Its core objective is to ensure reliable sealing, flexible operation, and structural safety under deep-cryogenic conditions, preventing material embrittlement, leakage, and abnormal deformation.
Based on standard gate valve design, cryogenic gate valves undergo comprehensive low-temperature adaptation:
• Extended bonnet to isolate low temperatures and protect packing
• Body materials selected from austenitic stainless steel or other materials with excellent cryogenic toughness
• Sealing surfaces often hard-faced with wear-resistant alloys or designed with special polymers
• Subjected to rigorous cryogenic treatment and testing
The cryogenic gate valves produced by Kaiweixi Valve Group are characterized by their long-neck structure, leak-proof design, and materials resistant to low-temperature impact. They are widely used in critical cryogenic systems such as liquefied natural gas storage and transportation, air separation units, low-temperature chemical processing, and aerospace fuel systems.
