The DZ11W Cryogenic Socket Weld Gate Valve is a small-diameter gate valve specifically designed for cryogenic services, featuring a socket weld connection and a forged steel body. It is suitable for ultra-low temperature media such as Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid hydrogen, liquid ammonia, and liquid ethylene.The valve body and key components are manufactured from forged stainless steel (such as F304, F316L) or low-temperature alloy steel (such as A350 LF2). These components undergo deep cryogenic treatment to eliminate residual stresses, ensuring excellent low-temperature toughness and dimensional stability at temperatures as low as -196°C.The valve operates by lifting and lowering the gate to open or close. The length of the extended bonnet is determined based on the operating temperature, positioning the stuffing box away from the cold zone. This design prevents the packing from freezing and mitigates valve stem seizure.This valve is widely used in LNG terminals, air separation units, cryogenic storage and transportation systems, and small-diameter piping systems in the petrochemical industry. It is a critical piece of equipment for achieving reliable shut-off under ultra-low temperature working conditions.

1.  Permanent Sealing with Socket Weld Connection: The socket weld connection integrates the valve with the pipeline, completely eliminating the risk of leakage at the connection point. It is ideal for small-diameter, high-pressure cryogenic systems.

2.  High-Pressure Capability of Forged Steel Body: Constructed from forged stainless steel or low-temperature alloy steel, the valve features a uniform and dense structure with high mechanical strength. Pressure ratings are available up to 150LB-800LB or PN1.6-16.0MPa.

3.  Cryogenic Treatment and Low-Temperature Materials: The chemical composition and low-temperature impact toughness of materials are strictly controlled. Components undergo deep cryogenic treatment to relieve stress, ensuring toughness and dimensional stability at -196°C, preventing brittle fracture.

4.  Extended Bonnet Anti-Freezing Design: The bonnet length is determined based on the valve's operating temperature, effectively lengthening the path for cold conduction. This ensures the stuffing box remains in a higher temperature zone, preventing the packing from freezing and the valve stem from seizing.

5.  Low Fluid Resistance and Wide Applicability: The medium flow direction is unrestricted, resulting in low fluid resistance and minimal erosion of the sealing surfaces. It is suitable for a wide range of cryogenic media, including methane, ethane, propane, liquid ammonia, liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and liquefied natural gas.
