Lever Safety Valve
Lever Safety Valve
A lever safety valve is a traditional, direct-acting safety valve that utilizes the principle of a counterweight and lever to achieve pressure setting and operation. Its core feature lies in the precise adjustment of the counterweight's position or mass on the lever to set and maintain a constant opening pressure, without relying on a spring. This design offers intuitive structure and stable performance.
The lever safety valve has a relatively simple structure, primarily consisting of the valve body, disc, seat, lever, pivot, and adjustable counterweight. When the force exerted by the system pressure on the underside of the disc exceeds the torque generated by the counterweight via the lever, the valve lifts to release pressure. Once the pressure decreases, the counterweight torque automatically resets and closes the valve.
The lever safety valves produced by Kaiweixi Valve Group offer advantages such as robust construction, reliable performance, stable opening pressure unaffected by temperature, and intuitive maintenance and pressure setting. They are widely used in early industrial boilers, fixed low-pressure pressure vessels, and certain cost-sensitive applications with stable operating conditions.
