Overview

The Q647H Pneumatic Trunnion Forged Steel Ball Valve is a rotary control valve specifically designed for high-pressure, large-diameter, and automated control applications. It opens or closes the pipeline by using a pneumatic actuator to rotate the ball 90°. Its core design features a trunnion-mounted ball structure, where the ball is supported and positioned by upper and lower bearings. This effectively withstands the substantial thrust generated by media pressure, significantly reduces operating torque, and ensures reliable sealing and flexible operation under large-diameter, high differential pressure, and frequent cycling conditions.

The valve body is manufactured using an integral forging process and made of high-quality carbon steel, alloy steel, or stainless steel. This eliminates casting defects, enhances the density and strength of the body, and ensures long-term stable operation under high pressure, high temperature, and corrosive conditions. The sealing pair utilizes a metal-to-metal hard seal design, with sealing surfaces hardfaced using wear-resistant alloys (such as Stellite) and precision-lapped. This provides high hardness, excellent wear resistance, and superior erosion resistance, capable of withstanding harsh conditions involving particulate media, high pressure, and high temperature.

The valve is equipped with a pneumatic actuator, enabling remote control and automated interlocking, with quick response and safe, reliable operation. A manual override mechanism can also be configured for emergency use in case of air supply failure. The valve features a double seat and an automatic cavity overpressure relief structure, ensuring operational safety. It adopts a standard flanged connection, offering high strength, excellent sealing, and convenient disassembly.

This valve is specifically designed for industrial fluid systems handling media such as crude oil, natural gas, long-distance pipelines, and high-temperature, high-pressure steam.
