The DH61W cryogenic welded check valve is a specialized automatic valve designed for ultra-low temperature applications, featuring welded connections and a forged stainless steel body. It is suitable for cryogenic media such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, and liquid ethylene. The valve body and key components are made of stainless steel and undergo deep cryogenic treatment to eliminate residual stress, ensuring low-temperature toughness and dimensional stability at -196°C. The valve opens and closes automatically by the flow of the medium itself—when the medium flows in the forward direction, it exerts pressure on the underside of the disc to open the valve; when backflow occurs, pressure on the top of the disc forces it closed, preventing reverse flow. The sealing ring is made of PTFE or other materials specifically designed for low-temperature service, and the valve is permanently integrated with the pipeline via welded connections. Widely used in LNG terminals, air separation units, cryogenic storage and transportation systems, and low-temperature installations in the petrochemical industry, this valve is a critical component for reliable backflow prevention under ultra-cold operating conditions.

DH61W Cryogenic Welded Check Valve Features

1.  Welded Connection for Permanent Seal: Utilizes socket welding or butt welding to integrate the valve with the pipeline, eliminating potential leakage paths at connections. This makes it ideal for cryogenic systems where leakage is unacceptable.

2.  Deep Cryogenic Treatment: All components undergo pretreatment with liquid nitrogen to prevent sealing deformation and leakage caused by temperature fluctuations during operation. This ensures material toughness and dimensional stability at -196°C.

3.  Stainless Steel for Low-Temperature Resistance: The body, bonnet, and disc are constructed from stainless steel, offering excellent mechanical properties and suitability for various cryogenic media including liquid oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and LNG.

4.  Specialized Low-Temperature Sealing System: Employs sealing rings made of PTFE or other cryogenic-specific materials with a low shrinkage rate at low temperatures, ensuring reliable sealing and smooth opening and closing.

5.  Reliable and Self-Actuating Operation: The disc opens and closes automatically based on the flow of the medium, requiring no external actuation. The medium flows from below the disc, ensuring reliable check valve function.
