The PL series limit switch box is a critical field instrument for the remote monitoring and feedback of valve position status within process automation systems. Typically mounted on the top of pneumatic or manual rotary actuators, the device's internal shaft rotates synchronously with the actuator. Utilizing mechanical micro-switches or inductive proximity sensors, the PL series converts "Full-Open" and "Full-Closed" positions into standard electrical signals for DCS or PLC control systems. Equipped with a high-visibility 3D local indicator, high protection rating, and easy adjustment features, the PL series is widely utilized in oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, and water treatment industries to ensure process visualization and closed-loop safety control.

1.Standardized mounting interface:Designed in accordance with VDI/VDE 3845 (NAMUR) and ISO 5211 standards. The adjustable stainless steel bracket ensures easy adaptation to various pneumatic actuator brands with high interchangeability.
2.High-visibility visual indicator:Features a prominent 3D position indicator (usually yellow/red or open/closed labels). The transparent dome provides 360-degree visibility, allowing operators to monitor valve status from a distance.
3.Robust industrial housing:Made of die-cast aluminum alloy or stainless steel with a polyester electrostatic coating. It offers exceptional resistance to UV, corrosion, and impact, suitable for harsh outdoor and chemical environments.
4.Precision cam adjustment mechanism:Utilizes a unique "Easy-set" or splined cam design. Accurate setting of open and closed signal points can be achieved manually or with simple tools without the need for specialized equipment, shortening commissioning time.
5.Superior protection and sealing:Rated at IP67 or IP68, effectively preventing dust and moisture ingress. Optional explosion-proof (Exd) or intrinsically safe (Exia) certifications are available for hazardous areas containing flammable gases or vapors.
6.Integrated terminal block:The spacious interior includes an angled multi-point terminal strip for fast and reliable electrical connections. The layout prevents short-circuits, ensuring stable signal transmission.
7.Dual conduit entries:Standardized with two cable entries (e.g., M20x1.5 or 1/2" NPT), allowing for the separate routing of power and signal lines or the daisy-chaining of multiple units.
8.Wide switch sensor options:Supports mechanical SPDT/DPDT micro-switches, inductive proximity sensors, and gold-plated contacts for low-power PLC inputs to meet various control requirements.
