The HX5/HXF5 single breather valve is a one-way pressure-relief breather valve installed on the top of fixed roof tanks, allowing tank gas to vent outward only when overpressure occurs, while remaining tightly closed when the tank pressure is below the set value. This valve features standard flange connections for piping to a recovery system or direct atmospheric discharge, and an optional built-in flame arrestor is available. Its core purpose is to automatically release excess gas during tank filling or temperature rise to prevent overpressure deformation, while reducing media evaporation loss. It is suitable for tanks that are insensitive to vacuum or already equipped with independent gas intake devices (such as nitrogen blanketing systems).
