The HX6/HXF6 single breather valve is a one-way pressure-relief breather valve installed on the top of fixed roof tanks, featuring a large flow path design optimized for high venting capacity requirements. When the tank pressure exceeds the set value, the pressure disc automatically opens to release excess gas; it reseals tightly when pressure returns to normal. The valve can be optionally equipped with a built-in flame arrestor and features standard flange connections for piping to a recovery system or direct atmospheric discharge. Its core purpose is to achieve efficient, set-pressure venting during rapid tank filling, high ambient temperature, or nitrogen purging conditions that generate large volumes of volatile gases, preventing overpressure deformation while reducing media evaporation loss. It is suitable for tanks that are insensitive to vacuum or already equipped with independent gas intake devices.

7. Easy maintenance: Removable disc assembly; flame arrestor core (if equipped) can be extracted for cleaning, facilitating periodic inspection and maintenance.
