The XYXA breather manhole is an integrated device combining a manhole cover and a breather valve installed on the top of fixed roof tanks, integrating tank access, automatic pressure regulation, and flame arrestor functions. Under normal conditions, when the tank pressure exceeds the set value, the breather disc automatically opens to release excess gas; when vacuum occurs, it admits air to maintain pressure balance. Meanwhile, the manhole cover can be opened when needed to provide entry for operators to inspect or clean the tank. This device is primarily used for safe venting and personnel access in petroleum, chemical, and other industrial storage tanks. Its core purpose is to replace traditional separate breather valves and manholes, providing automatic tank pressure regulation to prevent overpressure/vacuum damage while offering safe and convenient access for tank entry operations, with built-in flame arrestor to prevent external flame ingress.
