Flow Control Valve
Also known as a flow regulating control valve or flow and pressure regulating valve, the flow control valve is a specialized valve designed to achieve high-precision, wide-range flow regulation and stable pressure control under complex working conditions. Its core function is to overcome issues commonly associated with traditional valves during adjustment, such as cavitation, vibration, noise, and wear, ensuring smooth and accurate flow control even under high differential pressure conditions.
The flow control valve employs a unique multi-stage pressure reduction or labyrinth flow path design (e.g., piston-type or multi-hole sleeve configuration). By decomposing a single high-pressure differential into multiple stages of low-pressure differentials, it effectively dissipates fluid energy and suppresses cavitation and flashing. The valve mainly consists of the valve body, a precision-adjustable piston or valve cage, a sealing system, and a drive mechanism.
The flow control valves produced by Kaiweixi Valve Group are characterized by their wide regulating ratio, excellent linearity in flow control, outstanding anti-cavitation performance, smooth operation, and long service life. They not only regulate flow but also integrate multiple functions such as shut-off, pressure relief, and bypass.
Flow control valves are widely used in applications with stringent flow control requirements, such as large-scale water supply networks, pump outlet protection, water distribution in wastewater treatment plants, cooling systems in power plants, and hydraulic engineering projects. They serve as critical equipment for ensuring system safety, energy efficiency, and stable operation.
