Overview

The H45H Forged Steel Y-Type Check Valve is an automatic valve specifically designed for high-pressure, high-temperature, and demanding industrial applications. It utilizes the flow energy of the medium to drive the disc in a lifting motion along the centerline of the valve body flow path, thereby achieving unidirectional flow and preventing backflow in the piping system. Its core design features a Y-type body configuration, where the disc is positioned at an angle relative to the flow path axis. This design significantly reduces fluid flow resistance and minimizes pressure loss. The valve body is manufactured using an integral forging process from high-quality materials such as carbon steel, alloy steel, or stainless steel, ensuring excellent impact resistance and structural integrity under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. Key components are produced using precision machining techniques and feature a metal-to-metal sealing design. The sealing surfaces of the disc and seat are overlaid with hardfacing alloy and precision lapped to achieve tight and reliable sealing performance. The valve can be provided with socket weld, threaded, or flanged connections based on system requirements, making it suitable for high-parameter industrial piping systems. The valve opens automatically under the forward thrust of the medium and closes automatically by the disc's own weight and reverse pressure when the flow stops or reverses. An internal spring can be incorporated to assist closure when necessary, enabling a rapid-response unidirectional shut-off function. This valve is specifically designed for industrial fluid conveyance systems involving water, steam, oil, and corrosive media. It is particularly suitable for demanding applications in petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgical, and refinery installations that require low flow resistance, high sealing integrity, and long-term stable operation under high temperature, high pressure, or corrosive environments.

Features

1、High-Performance Forged Body Construction: The valve body is formed through an integral forging process using high-quality carbon steel, alloy steel, or stainless steel. This eliminates casting defects, significantly enhancing material density and strength. The unique Y-type flow path design positions the disc at an angle relative to the flow path axis, effectively dispersing the impact force of the medium. This ensures long-term stable operation under high pressure, high temperature, and demanding conditions, completely avoiding the risk of pressure-containing part failure.

2、Reliable Automatic Sealing System: The sealing surfaces of the disc and seat feature a metal-to-metal design. The sealing surfaces are overlaid with cobalt-based hardfacing alloy (such as Stellite) and precision ground to ensure excellent mating contact. The valve utilizes the forward pressure of the medium to automatically open the disc. When flow reverses or stops, the disc closes rapidly by its own weight, assisted by spring force (if equipped) and the reverse pressure, providing tight and reliable unidirectional shut-off to prevent backflow.

3、Flexible and Diverse Connection Options: Based on different system requirements, socket weld (SW), threaded (NPT, PT, BSPT), or flanged connections can be selected. Socket weld connections achieve a permanent, integral connection through full-penetration groove welding, suitable for high-pressure, hazardous media piping systems. Threaded connections allow for quick and easy installation and convenient disassembly/maintenance, suitable for general industrial piping systems. Flanged connections facilitate easy installation and removal, ideal for applications requiring periodic maintenance.

4、Low Flow Resistance Y-Type Flow Path Design: The internal flow path features a Y-type configuration, providing a streamlined media flow path. This significantly reduces eddy currents and turbulence caused by changes in flow direction, effectively lowering fluid resistance losses and pressure drop. The smooth transitions in the flow path avoid media stagnation, making it particularly suitable for high-velocity, continuous-duty industrial systems, offering energy savings compared to traditional lift check valves.

5、Wide Applicability Across Operating Conditions: The product design covers pressure classes from Class 150 to Class 2500 and a wide temperature range. It is suitable for various industrial fluids including water, steam, oil, corrosive media, and high-temperature/high-pressure gases, meeting the piping control requirements of diverse industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, refinery units, and general industrial applications.

6、Rapid Response and Installation Flexibility: As an automatic valve, it requires no external power source or manual operation. It relies entirely on the energy of the flowing medium to open and close, providing sensitive response and reliable action. The Y-type design ensures stable disc movement and short opening/closing times, effectively reducing the risk of water hammer. It can be installed in either horizontal or vertical positions (with media flowing upward) based on piping layout, offering installation flexibility to suit different spatial constraints and process requirements.
