The ZPQ pneumatic valve positioner is a critical accessory for pneumatic actuators in industrial process control systems. The device receives a pneumatic command signal of 20-100kPa (or other standard ranges) from a pneumatic controller. Utilizing the force-balance principle, it converts the input signal into a corresponding output pressure for the actuator. Through mechanical displacement feedback from the valve stem, the positioner corrects valve position deviations in real-time to achieve precise positioning. Since the unit relies entirely on pneumatic components without any electrical signals, the ZPQ positioner possesses exceptional intrinsic safety, making it ideal for flammable and explosive environments in petroleum, chemical, and natural gas industries where sparks must be strictly prohibited.
