The SB-1S bevel gear box-1 stair is a high-power right-angle power transmission terminal utilizing a precision Gleason spiral bevel gear set. It is engineered for heavy-duty industrial applications demanding very high reduction ratios, extremely high output torque, and 90° direction change – such as mining conveyors, rubber and plastic extruders, large mixers, port cranes, and marine propulsion systems. The housing is made of high-strength ductile iron or cast steel. The internal high-capacity spiral bevel gear pair is manufactured from 20CrMnTi or 17CrNiMo6 steel, case-hardened to HRC58-62, ground to grade 5-6 accuracy, and shot-peened. Through optimized tooth geometry and ratio selection, the SB-1S achieves total reduction ratios from 13.6:1 to 115.5:1 and output torque ratings from 2350 N·m to 22,000 N·m, providing reliable long-term operation under extreme heavy loads. The unit supports various mounting orientations and shaft arrangements, accommodating high-power electric motors, hydraulic motors, or diesel engines – realizing a true high-power 4-in-1 integration of “ultra-high reduction, ultra-high torque, high reliability, and right-angle heavy-duty turning”.

1. High-Capacity Spiral Bevel Gear Set : Gleason-type equal-height teeth. Materials: 20CrMnTi or 17CrNiMo6, case-hardened to HRC58-62, ground to grade 5-6 accuracy with computer-optimized contact patterns. Load capacity is more than 40% higher than straight bevel gears.

2. Wide Ratio Range & High Output Torque : Reduction ratio covers 13.6:1 to 115.5:1. Rated output torque from 2350 N·m to 22,000 N·m – suitable for heavy-duty machinery demanding high load capacity.

3. High Efficiency & Extended Fatigue Life : Transmission efficiency ≥92% (depending on ratio and lubrication). Gear teeth are shot-peened and specially phosphated, increasing contact fatigue life by more than 100% with a design life of at least 20,000 hours.

4. Multiple Shaft Arrangements & Mounting Styles : Input and output shafts at 90°. Supports M1 to M6 mounting orientations to fit complex spatial layouts. Available in single-input/single-output or single-input/dual-output configurations.

5. Heavy-Duty Bearings & Reinforced Housing : All shafts are equipped with large-sized tapered roller or spherical roller bearings. The housing features thickened walls and ribs optimized by FEA, achieving 50% higher torsional stiffness than standard bevel gearboxes, with excellent impact resistance.

6. Reliable Sealing & Optional Forced Lubrication/Cooling : Standard double-lipped FKM oil seals with labyrinth dust protection achieve IP65. Due to high torque and heat generation, optional forced lubrication station (including oil cooler, filter, pressure switch) is available to ensure stable oil temperature under continuous heavy load. Pre-filled with synthetic extreme-pressure gear oil (ISO VG460 or 680).
