The EDRV electric dynamic balance valve (commonly known as a Pressure Independent Control Valve or PICV) is a high-efficiency hydraulic control device that integrates dynamic balance and electric regulation functions. Its core structure consists of an electric actuator and a regulating valve body with a built-in automatic differential pressure compensation device, allowing for precise adjustment of media flow according to instructions from an automatic control system. The valve works through a precision mechanical compensation mechanism that offsets network pressure fluctuations in real-time to ensure the flow remains constant at a set opening. This pressure-independent characteristic effectively solves flow interference between terminal devices and dynamic hydraulic imbalance in large-scale HVAC and heating systems. As a critical component of intelligent energy management systems, the EDRV is widely used in central air conditioning HVAC systems, large regional heating projects, and process cooling water systems, providing an ideal solution for refined temperature control and energy conservation.
