1. Dedicated High-Ratio Gear Configuration : For the KB1SD model, the first and second stage worm pairs are arranged with special high reduction ratios (typical total i = 1500:1, 2500:1, 4000:1, etc.), delivering output speeds as low as 0.05 rpm – ideal for extreme low-speed heavy loads and extremely high positioning holding torque.
2. Integrated Handwheel with Clutch : Standard with a handwheel (foldable optional) and an internal bidirectional clutch or sliding key decoupling mechanism. During electric drive, the handwheel remains stationary. In manual mode, the motor is disengaged via a fork or worm shaft end, enabling safe, light-force manual operation with optimized torque amplification (operation force < 200 N).
3. Enhanced Dual Self-Locking : Both worm stages use a high lead angle combined with low-friction materials, providing extremely reliable back-self-locking at high ratios. The handwheel, when released in manual mode, holds the load without an additional brake.
4. High-Rigidity Housing & Reinforced Bearings : Housing wall thickness and ribbing are strengthened for high-ratio duty. Input, intermediate, and output shafts are supported by heavy-duty tapered roller bearings, increasing radial load capacity by 30% to withstand frequent reversals and shock loads.
5. Handwheel Protection & Position Indication : The handwheel rim features anti-slip rubber coating. Optional mechanical pointer or dial provides approximate output shaft angle or opening, facilitating quick field inspection of valve or mechanism status.
6. Long-Life Sealing & Wide-Temperature Lubrication : All shaft ends have imported FKM double-lipped seals; an additional dust seal is added on the handwheel input shaft. Pre-filled with wide-temperature synthetic extreme-pressure gear oil (ISO VG460 or synthetic hydrocarbon), suitable for -20°C to +80°C, with oil change interval up to 12,000 hours.
